Burger King honors fallen veterans with special Memorial Day table

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - All 35 locations of Drury-owned Burger Kings in the Heartland area and beyond have designated a special table reserved to honor fallen veterans this Memorial Day.

The Burger King on Broadway in Cape Girardeau had its table set up and the manager said a lot of people had been in Monday to see it.

She said some customers even cried before ordering their meal.

One employee said that numerous people had been in to see the table and talk about it and its importance. She said she feels like everyone who had come in to see the table supports the fallen veterans that fought for our country, including herself.

It was announced that Burger Kings in the area plan on reserving this table every Memorial Day weekend and Veterans Day every year from here on out.
