TEACHING EXPERIENCE
University of Central Florida College of Medicine OVAMC Site Director for the
Medical Student Neurology Clerkship
I was the pioneer neurologist that spearheaded the University of Central Florida / VA
relationship in neurology. I helped establish the UCF resident’s Internal medicine
rotation in neurology at the VA and the medical student clerkship. I contributed to
the goals and objectives document for the residents’ rotation in neurology. I am the
VA site director for the clerkship. I have assisted several students and residents in
developing research projects leading to posters and publications (outlined below). I
routinely lecture students and residents (see lectures below). I received the
prestigious and coveted University of Central Florida Excellence in Teaching Award
for Best Neurology Clerkship Teacher 2017.
Supervised several UCF medical students and residents on their neurology rotations
and mentored them on research projects with multiple publications (see below).
