Default SOLD: The Best X-Type in Switzerland

Yes it's finally up for sale, the best Jaguar X-Type in Switzerland.

What you are looking at here is a 2005MY Jaguar X-Type "Executive" sedan, a 231PS 3.0L V6, 5-speed automatic, with All-Wheel-Drive.

I do not hesitate to say that this is the best X-Type in Switzerland, because frankly it is. What makes it so special?

It's painted in Ebony Black
Interior is Warm Charcoal (very dark grey) leather
Finished with Piano Black veneer (yes there is real wood in this car)

As of today 69'820kms

Options fitted include;

Automatic Xenon Headlamps
Automatic Windscreen Wipers
Automatic Powerfold Mirrors (not a factory option on the X, but it's got it!)
Rear Parking Sensors, Power windows, Power Mirrors
Both front seats 8-way electrically adjustable and heated
7" LCD Touchscreen control center
Integrated Navigation, with 2012 maps for W.Europe, 2010 maps for E.Europe
Integrated Bluetooth Phone (via the Touchscreen)
Factory 320W Alpine amplifier, with Digital Sound Processing (via the Touchscreen)
10-speaker sound system, upgraded with Focal speakers & Kicker subs
iPod, USB & AUX inputs, (controlled via the Touchscreen)
Original Jaguar LCD screens, with wireless headphones & remote control, 2x AUX inputs & a memory card reader (play videos from memory card!)
Tailored Privacy Shades for the rear windows

Other things worth noting;

Factory spoiler on the boot lid
Factory "Sports Collection" exhaust tips (not a loud exhaust)
Car has been professionally lowered with H&R springs (with Swiss Certifcate)
Brand new EBC brake pads & discs, specially imported from England
Front grille was replaced with the 2008 facelift version
Interior lights all replaced with tasteful LEDs (with puddle lights in doors)
Additional "B&I" trim kit in Piano Black (not wood, but the factory pieces are wood)
ISOFIX mounts for child seats
Luggage net & umbrella holder in the boot
The car comes with two sets of handbooks/manuals, in German and English.

Here are some more pictures to whet your appetite;

The car has two sets of wheels. 18" 5-spoke "Proteus" alloys with Michelin summer tyres, and 17" 10-spoke "X-Sport" alloys with Nokian winter tyres.

With AWD and winter tyres the car is unstoppable in snow, here with the 17"

This car has been pampered and cherished, I am the second owner, the previous owner was a lawyer in Zürich.

Full service history at Jaguar dealers in CH, except for the last service done at a specialist Jaguar garage, where the bill was CHF 4000 for the service and the whole suspension to be overhauled.

I've probably spend upwards of CHF 10'000 on this car in the 2 years i've owned it, by adding the missing factory options, servicing and pampering.

Since i've spent all the money on this car, you, the lucky buyer, won't have to spend a rappen...receipts for everything are on hand.

Price is on request since it's unfair to compare Swiss prices to UK or US prices.

I know about that. I had to sell my beloved VTR250 for a move. At least it went to a collector in Hawaii. Hey, If I had to move somewhere, Hawaii would be good.

But at least you had a chance to enjoy it on the German Autobahn & also around the Alps! In 2003, I had the same same model. Picked it up at the Frankfurt Airport and drove South to Garmish, Neuschwanstein Castle, the Swaovski Crystal Works, Lake Chiemsee, Salzburg, Cortina D'Ampezzo, Vincenza, Venice, Bolzano, Munich, and back to Frankfurt. Mine would only go 125 MPH on the Autobahn. How about yours? Anyhow, that 10 day 'test drive; sold me on the car. It was the best I had even driven. So I bought one in Aug 2005.

Had it up to 230km/h on the clock, in reality that was probably around 220km/h. Def not a bahnstormer, the XJR on the other hand....
