Head trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, and a failure to find community and purpose after war or professional sports careers are at the root of increasing numbers of suicides and other problems plaguing our military and athletic communities. Time in nature can help.

This panel discussion will center on military veterans and professional athletes whose time outdoors has supported a healthy transition out of sports or the military.

Space is limited: RSVP here
This event is free, but we hope you will consider a donation that will support the award-winning Sierra Club Outdoors program in its effort to connect thousands of youth, military service members, veterans, their families, and all people to the great outdoors.

Our special thanks to Duncan Neiderauer, CEO of NYSE Euronext.
